Transmission tower downtown

I would love to climb up this tower and take pics of Dallas from the top.

I spent $8 yesterday on a magazine called Urbis Landscapes (a NZ magazine) after seeing an article on Nasher Sculpture Centre and I was thinking about toi! And the first question that came to mind was: does it really snow in Dallas, or is it a trick photo? Turned out to be a pretty good investment because it has short articles (for readers with short attention span) on interesting places around the world, but the photos are nowehre near the calibre of the DP bunch. Seriously.

You could get some killer snaps up there, meg, because this tower is incredibly tall. Wow, Urbis Landscapes sounds like my kind of glossy(especially the short articles)! Nasher has a sculpture that is visible from the street that freaks me out every time. I'll have to snap it for you soon. That really is a world-class structure and collection of large sculpture - we have some great museums in the D/FW area. Yeah, it does snow here, and every few years or so, it actually snows enough to accumulate. What's really cool is when it snows, all the mass transit is free, so people cram onto our little light rail system and go different places in town to drink - it's like a big rolling party. Cool stuff.

Hey this looks familiar. I see this kind of radio tower every afternoon as I'm walking out of work. I've taken a few pics of yet—but haven't posted them yet. I always have climbing thoughts when I look at it, not me of course, cause I wig out when I try to put up christmas lights. —San Antonio DP
