Memorial Day 2010

Today we remember the men and women who have given their lives in the service of this country, and we give thanks for their sacrifice. We are indebted to them.

Sit-In at Dallas City Hall

I have no idea what these people were protesting. They looked kind of silly, but I can respect that they had the guts to make their feelings known.

Here we look South down North Houston street, through Victory Park with American Airlines Center on the right (where the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks play), The W Hotel on the right, le Cirque on the left and the 72-story Bank of America tower in the distance.
