Victorian building missing its former neighbor

This is the side of a downtown brick building from the Victorian period, taken from the adjacent parking lot. You can see the divets in the surface of the brick where the joists embedded to support the various floors of the building that used to stand there. I loved the terra-cotta colored wall against the backdrop of the sky at twilight.

Buildings helping buildings... It saves on heating costs, too, I'd imagine. I wonder what they will build here next.

edwin- *L* Yeah, it almost has that look - like a sandstone southwestern cliff - it's certainly the right color

meg - well, right now it's a parking lot downtown, and they rake in a lot of money, so as far as I know, there are no plans to do something else with it. so far.
