Under a Freeway Overpass on a Dreary Day

The star-spangled bus is a tour bus of some sort, and the large vehicle is a Chevy or GMC Suburban, transport of choice for large, well-heeled families in this neck of the woods. This is near American Airlines Center and under Stemmons Expressway.

Fancy tour bus. Easy to spot after a loo stop.

You know, Meg - most tour buses like that here HAVE a loo on board! But yeah, it would be easy to spot, no kidding!

Oh, nice! Over here most local tour buses are second- (or third-) hand Japanese mini buses, many with the former owner's logos still on them, so Ben and I have a cracker of a time looking at so-and-so kindargarten, or so-and-so agriculture signs. As are many trucks. We get a bit nostalgic when we see so-and-so construction company, for example, right down the street from Ben's parent live. And... ummm... I don't like to 'go' on vehicles/air crafts when they are moving, but I'm thinking I should have saved that one for FA!
