Thanksgiving

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the USA. I'm thankful for my little dog who has been my companion for 15 years. She is fearless, intrepid and a real go-getter. She's also incredibly cute and a cuddly little beast. She's 15 pounds of love and mischief, and on cold nights I think of her as a fur-clad hot water bottle. She's a Dallas dog.

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!

Pets, ain't they wonderful? Gives you something to focus on besides your own self. Which, in my case, gets too much focus anyway.

fathairybastard - indeed. It's a regular doggie paradise around here!

kris - I just hope she has a happy life. I do my best

kate - Yes, she's a good little friend. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving yourself!

myron - Yup, the sun rises and sets with my doglet. Yeah, I always say she really taught me how to love. The thing I learned is you have to love the pet more than any material possession they might destroy. Mission accomplished.

annie - Wow - that's a lovely thing to say - thank you so much! Thanks for your lovely blog, too.

meg - the doglet got the usual: kibble from Muenster natural dog food, a glucosamine chew and a meaty bone treat. She's always happy with her diet, although she'll rabidly try to get at whatever people food she can, if you look the other way.

ame - OMG - that's in such bad taste! YUK! YUK! I LOVE it! Peggy Fleming was such a lovely skater - so feminine and graceful on the ice. I love a terrible pun.
