Cool old car

Oh yeah. '50 Ford rag top with twin spots and fog lights. And the original puke green. How cool is that? Wonder if it has the original upholstery? Man, that was some prickly stuff.

Brings back memories of nights in a '49 Ford coopay with my first true sweetie when we were freshmen in high school in Denton, North Texas, America.

myron - something in my head told me you'd know what this car was! I love the color - it's so distinctive of that era. I didn't even look inside - was in a bit of a hurry at that point. Cool - glad I could help you walk down memory lane!

mountainboy - Yeah, that would be an incredible mini color - it's almost a Vespa color - rather mod, actually

fathairybastard - I LIKE the color, but I can see why some wouldn't - as Myron said, it's a pukey green. I like it, though, kind of a washed-out pistachio

Oh my..a 1950 Ford Customline convertible. I own a '49 Ford 2 door in sad need of restoration. It was my first car. Mom is after me to get it out of her yard and either sell it or bring it up to Dallas.

That's a nice car, but nowhere near as nice as the '50 red convertible Ford I nearly bought in Shreveport about 20 years ago. Makes me sad I didn't.

Flatheads are truly special.

Regards,
Rabbit.
