I love this fantastic old dry cleaner sign on the west side of Maple north of Oak Lawn. The tallish glass building in the background is the home to the Dallas Observer, which is a free weekly local paper.

Washateria! Love it. My grandmother used to take her stuff to one, and we got to go with her when we visited. Lots of times we'd go accross the street to DQ to get a dip cone. Good times.

Oh, I love those old-fashioned, tacky signs, too. Like a little touch of Vegas in the hinterlands.

Fathairybastard, if you miss going to laundromat, you could always come here and help me schlepp my wash back & forth. I'm just offering, y'know.
