Aw, heck. so what if it is just a big pile of mud and dirt? The sunlight hit it at the perfect moment near sunset, and that's what it made me think of.

Strange Fruit

This photo was taken in December of the fruit lingering on a tree down the alley from my house. I think it was some kind of pear or persimmon, but I don't know. The fruit was intensely red and plump, and it was beautiful against the backdrop of the blue sky.

On a day out with a young lady from my clan, we took the grand tour of the bread factory. Afterward, I had her stand in the bed of my pickup truck to get this perspective. Life is sweet!

This factory closed its doors a few years ago, unfortunately.
