Great blog! I really wanted to attend the parade since Celina was in it, but didn't make it. I would like to add you to my list of "Texas" photo sites if you don't mind. Come over and visit me sometime!!

What is a Cotton Bowl parade? Is it unique to Dallas?

dan - Thanks - I had a fun view of proceedings

kim - Glad you like it, and thanks for the link - I'll come check yours out too. :)

clarice - The Cotton Bowl is a stadium at Fair Park in Dallas, where a special ball game is played every January 1. There are different "bowl" games all over the country at that time I think (sorry, I'm no football expert) there's the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl and maybe some others. BUt yes, Cotton Bowl is named for our stadium and is unique to Dallas
