The last time I was in the Ritz it was no longer a proper theatre? It was a place for ladies to take their clothes off and show off their whatchamacallits and some had long strands of beads attached that they could swings around in opposite directions.
I believe it was 1952 in Dayton not Dallas. Did your Ritz go through the same metamorphosis?

What a wonderful building. We have so few here anymore. They just keep making way for more condos. Yuck. Hey my last post for the Phoenix site will be after the first week of August. I am moving to Santa Fe, NM. Not sure if I will start another site yet.
Interesting facade. There is a nice sepia effect in the photo that creates a nice atmosphere too.
