This is 1940s vintage. I don't think I would want to stay there.

You know, Abraham, it's not the vintage that would be offputting for me-- it's the location. It's in a seedy area of town where the breasty-bars are and it's also where a lot of unsavories have taken over and completely dominate the area, hanging out in throngs. I took this photo at sunset, and actually decided it wasn't wise for me to be alone in that part of town that late in the day. The emergence of the titty bars there and the ne'er-do-wells hanging out has only really happened in the last 20 years. This road is a major artery I use to drive regularly about 23 years ago. My, how the times change.
